| The Story/ Plot! |
| One day, Dizzy was walking along, a little angry at being sacked from
Codemasters, doing nothing in particular. Then, all of a sudden, the ground disappeared from beneath him, and he fell into a long abandoned underground construction site. You have to guide Dizzy around the caves to try and find a way out. Use the left and right arrow keys to walk, shift to jump, enter to pick up an object or a star, and control to drop or use an object. |
| Hint's & Tip's! |
| * Make sure you collect everything from the top of the caves before exploring. * Some things will kill Dizzy instantly, others will only harm him. * Stars replenish energy, but only slightly. * To control Dizzy when doing a straight up jump, hold down the shift button. * No objects are useless. * You can walk on clouds without fear of sinking. Now all you have to do is work out why there are clouds underground. * Unbalanced grass dissolves easily. |
| Cheat Mode! |
| To get Infinite lives, on the title screen enter ILIKECAKE, and dizzy will vanish, then when you start the game you'll be immortal. |
| The Solution to Dizzy Caves! |
| Get the star from the
left of the screen and move R/D. Pick up the skull and head U/R, but don't go down just yet. Jump the gap and move R to pick up the second star (from now on, it's up to you to get the stars). Head L/D. Drop the skull when you land on the grass. R, R, U, L, pick up Acid. R, D, L, L, drop acid to the left of the screen, L, pick up skull, R, D, drop skull, R, pick up key, L, L, L, U (through fake roof which is easy to find!). R*4, drop key on boat, R*3, D, L, get key, R, U, continue L until cave entrance, D move to the door in the cave and drop key, head back to where ever you left the skull and pick it up. Move back to where the door was and move D, L, L, drop skull, L, pick up pickaxe, R, R, drop pickaxe next to rock, L, pick up skull, R, R, drop skull near big head, the head's eye will turn green and you can pass. R, R, R, U/L, U, get monster spray. Head back out of cave. From where you come out from the fake roof, move R*3, U, R, L/U, L, U/R, R until you get to the monster, drop spray on the edge of the ledge, the monster should disappear, R*3, get electric-proof coat, head back to cave (don't forget the stars underneath the monster's layer), while holding the coat no electric traps will hurt you, get the stars in the bit sealed of with electricity and head down to the Big Head's chamber, move R*4 and drop down through the electric trap, R (don't forget the star), R, drop coat, pick up stick, U/L, L, L, and head out of cave. Head back to where you found the coat, D, L, use stick on boulder, R, get the last star, L. Now, this next bit is tricky, and may require several attempts. Below where you are standing is a cloud with the final object on it. To get to it, walk off the platform, and quickly press R. If you timed it right, you will now be on the cloud. Be careful! If you hit the ledge you just came off when you hit R, you'll drop straight down and you'll have to try again. If you made it, pick up wind blower. L*7, drop wind blower at the bottom of the funnel. Try to pick it up again. If you can't pick it up it's in the right place. If you have all 30 stars when you press enter on it, you have completed the game! |
